AWS Migration & Infrastructure Modernization
Led infrastructure modernization from aging on-premises systems to AWS, including application migration, hybrid networking, site-to-site VPN architecture, backup strategy, security controls, and operational consolidation across a multi-location business.
Problem
The organization relied on aging on-premises infrastructure that was costly to maintain, difficult to scale, and limiting operational flexibility. Multiple business locations needed secure, resilient connectivity to cloud-hosted systems without disrupting daily operations.
Solution
Designed and led the migration of core applications and infrastructure to AWS while maintaining secure hybrid connectivity across 16 business locations. Built a meshed site-to-site VPN architecture, modernized cloud hosting patterns, improved backup and recovery posture, and owned networking, security, monitoring, and cost optimization across the hybrid environment.
Role
Lead infrastructure architect and implementation owner
